PM Modi announces 5-year post-study visa for Indian students in France

  France Latest update for Indian students Earlier, Indian students in France were given two years of post-study work visas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a longer post-study work visa for Indian students in France. Modi said that France has decided to grant a long-term five-year visa for students pursuing a master’s degree in their country. This announcement was made while PM Modi addressed the Indian community at La Seine Musicale in Paris. “The last time I came to France, it was decided that Indian students studying in France would be given a 2-year post-study work visa. It has been decided that Indian students pursuing Masters in France will be given long-term post-study visa of 5 years,” said PM Modi in his address. The Prime Minister arrived in Paris on Thursday on a two-day official visit and was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the airport.
