IELTS Paper Pattern

Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking are the four sections. The total time allotted for the test is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The following is the academic IELTS exam pattern:

Listening: Students must listen to recordings of native English speakers and then write their responses based on them. The number of questions in this section is 40, and time allotted is 30 minutes.

Reading: Students reading skills will be evaluated in this section. Within 60 minutes, they must read three different passages and respond to related questions. In this section, you will be asked 40 questions.

Writing: The IELTS writing section is intended to assess a variety of writing abilities. This section has a time limit of 60 minutes, during which students must answer two questions.

Speaking: In the speaking section, students must converse with a certifies examiner and are graded on four criteria: Fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammars, and pronunciation.

The IELTS examination is not particularly difficult, but the questions on it can be tricky. As a result, it is recommended that you take mock tests.
