ABOUT UNIVERSITY- VINCENT POL UNIVERSITY

Vincent Pol University(VPU) is located in Lublin in eastern Poland, 170 km south of the capital city Warsaw, connected by high-speed train links, and Lublin airport has direct flights to several major cities in Europe, including London, Dublin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Stockholm, and Oslo. Lublin is a famous center of learning, frequently referred to as “the Oxford of the East” To the South of the city there are the Tatra Mountains, where you can try skiing in winter and mountain trekking in summer, and the north there is the historic city of Warsaw. Travel to the west and you can visit the historic cities of Krakow and Prague or go further and experience Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK.

 

LUBLIN

Lublin is situated in southeastern Poland, near the Eastern border of the European Union.it is called the “city of inspiration” because it is a historical place, located in a multi-cultural melting pot. THE CAMPUS

Vincent Pol University is located in a modern building with special teaching rooms fully adapted to the needs of the students from different courses. VPU is proud to own an exceptional lecture hall with a circular shape and a capacity of 200. The campus contains some modernly equipped classrooms, biomechanics, anatomy, massage, sports, tourism, hospitality, geography, and computer classes. Moreover, the building is endowed with a high-tech conference room that allows to arrange fluent meetings with people from all over the world.

For maximum comfort and security, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and video surveillance. The efficient facility management and technology solutions ensure that all the students have access to innovative laboratories a free WI FI connection as well as various leisure facilities that VPU cooperates with. That includes recreation and leisure rooms sports halls fitness clubs and swimming pools.

In comparison to other European Countries Poland is a relatively cheap place to live and study. prices depend greatly on the city [Lublin is one of the cheapest cities] and on the lifestyle of a particular person. Students may get with about 300-400 euro monthly disposal

ENTERTAINMENT

There are many different forms of sports activities available in Lublin. In summer you can swim in Zemborzycki Reservoir, go kayaking on the Bystrzyca River, or even try water skiing. In winter you can take up ice skating or skiing.

If you are into cultural activities, Lublin is a great place for you since it is a cultural center in the east of Poland. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Lublin offers a lot of bus lines and there are also weekday and weekend night bus services.

Bus tickets are available in various small shops, newsagents, and ticket machines.it is important to validate a ticket inside the bus because when you don’t have a valid ticket,  you will pay a fine.

HOUSING COST

There are different forms of housing available for students, including rooms in residence halls and rooms in shared student flats. The average cost of housing, depending on the chosen type of accommodation, varies between 100-200 euros.

Shopping for groceries in Lublin won’t ruin your finances, As might be expected, the lowest prices of food are offered in supermarkets and open-air markets
