FACULTY OF MEDICINE

The Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Bialystok is the faculty with the longest tradition. It was established along with the creation of the doctors. Academy in Bialystok on February 3, 1950. In 1969, the university’s academic scope was expanded by creating the Division of Dentistry. Over the course of the next few years, the educational offer was expanded, and the faculty’s academic and research bases were improved. In 1999, the Division of Nursing was established at the Faculty of Medicine, and four years later, it was transformed into the Faculty of Nursing and Health Care. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION                     

One of the priorities of the Medical University of Bialystok is dynamic internationalization. The International Cooperation Department conducts activities resulting from the Internationalisation Strategy. One of the main activities of the International Cooperation Department is the implementation of projects financed from external sources aimed at internationalizing the university. The Medical University of Bialystok is one of the largest beneficiaries of the funds distributed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Currently, the department implements 10 projects financed under the NAWA program and the becoming project, co-financed under the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
