Study in Germany
German higher education institutions look back on a long tradition. The first University was founded in Heidelberg in 1386. The ideas of the reformer Wilhelm von Humboldt (1767-1835) were Particularly influential in the further development of Universities. His principle of unity between research and teaching is still practiced at universities today.
German higher education
institutions provide significant impetus for innovation and progress. The
statistics count over 80 German Nobel Prize winners, most in chemistry, physics,
and medicine. Every day, researchers in Germany report around 80 world patents.
