historical charm. From the captivating Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site
with its quaint cobblestone streets and Art Nouveau architecture, to the lively
contemporary districts full of trendy coffee shops and acclaimed restaurants,
Riga’s character is one of old-world charm and modern vibrancy.
As a student in Riga, you will be able
to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of local culture. Visit an exhibition
at the magnificent Latvian National Museum of Art, discover the secrets of the
Old Town, or wander on the promenade along the glorious river Daugava. And of
course, don’t forget to taste the traditional local cuisine. We would recommend
indulging in hearty dishes like grey peas with bacon or a slice of Latvian rye
bread.
